I have made these a few times and they are delicious. Don’t skimp on the spices, as they will taste bland. They are amazing with some guacamole and salad in rolls. They are also yummy cold. Most veggie burger/pattie recipes leave you with something that falls apart when you fry it, but this retains its shape. Mine didn’t look like the photo above but they were wonderful.

I made these a few weeks ago and cut down on the amount of chilli in them to make them more child friendly. Mistake, as they were bland,so I ended up adding loads of herbs and spices to pep them up. They were then delicious. However – is that picture really these burgers?? Mine looked nothing like them at all, more like an american pancake!

I have just made the spicey kidney bean patties and my partner has declared them the best burgers he has ever tasted! I have to agree with him, they are fabulous – cheers for the recipe!!
