Suma driver Tony delivers on snowy Yorkshire roads
Suma driver Tony Simpson shows us the snowy sights of his weekly coast run, delivering wholefoods to customers in North Yorkshire. Not one to be put off by the snow, Tony gets up at 2am to start his journey and it takes him 15 hours to make all his deliveries. Tony loves driving, and has been doing the coast run for over twelve years. During this time, Tony’s delivered in all sorts of weather conditions, including snow, floods, fog and blustery winds. We’re wondering what it would take to stop him? Not a lot we think!
When not driving for Suma, Tony works keeping the warehouse spic and span, and can often be seen driving down the aisles on Noo Noo, the warehouse hoover. Tony is also renowned for his excellent picking skills, and building pallets so strong, we think they’d double up as a great flood wall in an emergency.
Despite the bad weather, most Suma drivers have been making deliveries to all our usual areas where it is safe to do so. For more snowy pics of us out on the road see Suma delivers despite the snow
