Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies
Mmm Sheena’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie, nuff said.
Ingredients
- 225g Suma organic crunchy peanut butter (GH022)
- 200g good quality dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 280g Suma soft light brown sugar (LJ241)
- 3 medium free range eggs
- 100g self-raising flour
Method:
- Set aside 50g each of the peanut butter and chocolate for later
- Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4
- line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment
- In a pan, gently melt remaining peanut butter, chocolate and all the sugar, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has just about melted
- Allow to cool slightly, then using a wooden spoon, beat in the eggs one at a time
- Stir in the flour, mix well, and turn into the lined tin, leveling out the mixture evenly across the tin
- Spoon remaining peanut butter over the brownie in diagonal stripes
- Bake in the centre of the oven for approximately 20-25 mins until it has a crust, but the middle is still soft and cakey
- Melt remaining chocolate, drizzle over the brownie, then allow to cool in the tin before cutting up
