Pride celebrations are beginning across the UK this month. Here at Suma we aim to operate an inclusive and safe space for everyone.
Which is why have a Pride Worker Network. It’s role is to raise awareness of and provide a voice for the LGBTQIA+ community within Suma. And it brings together workers with a shared interest in supporting the wider LGBTQIA+ community, whether they identify as LBGTQIA+ or as an ally.
The network is openly Trans Inclusive, and supports anti-discrimination, and advances the cause of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at Suma.
The Pride network arranges events, activities, campaigning and advocacy. We’re looking forward to joining in the many local Pride celebrations during June, and over the coming summer.
And in August our own Pride activities will get going, so keep an eye on our socials to see what’s going on.
