Just writing to ask – what do you think you are playing at?
I opened a can of Suma organic chopped tomatoes – it was full of chopped tomatoes.
Where was 1/3 a can of tomato juice? where was all the horrible tomato skin? & those really hard bits where the stalk is attached?
This wasn’t just one can, it was all 12 in the case!!!!!
Now this filling a can up with what it says on the label, seems to be getting a habit with you – your baked beans (the world’s most delicious btw – even I will eat them!) – full to the top with beans that are just coated with sauce. I am used to a tin being 3/4 full of beans & the rest being a watery, vinegary, bland sauce.
Raising the expectations of the consumer like this – you will be getting other manufacturers a very bad name!
“Thanks & keep up the good work”
“Hi ,
I received my first order on Monday. I was really happy with the service received in setting up the account and was really impressed that the order arrived exactly when the driver said he would be with me. Couldnt ask for more than that.
Nice to find another wholesaler for ordering my chilled and frozen items and for it to be a pleasant experience dealing with you.
So thankyou. Kind regards

Just received my latest Suma order and wanted to say thanks once again for great service!
The sparkling apple juice, as part of a promotional offer, was added to my order with no fuss- much appreciated.
Our delivery driver, Bob, is always a pleasure to have a quick chat with whilst we help unload
Suma is a breath of fresh air! Thanks! Please pass on our thanks to all concerned!”

“Hi Suma,
I have to say that so far the Suma experience has been rather impressive. We have been running a small food group with neighbours for about ten years and until recently ordering through Community Foods (or rather their off shoot, Natural Connection). It was never very easy to deal with them and when we last tried to order it became clear that they are having very serious problems. So we have defected to Suma and now realise that we should have done it ages ago.”
We are just wading through all the Raffle winner notifications & Thank you letters! Hadn’t got up to the “S’s” for Suma yet!
Yes, your box of Products arrived really promptly.
We were able to use all the products to provide absolutely loads of Tombola prizes and all the winners were well impressed with their goodies.
The sun shone for us and really brought the crowds out. We raised just over £1600 which was an awful lot of £1 tickets!! This will go along way to help pay for emergency kennelling in June. The event really raised Hope Rescues profile too and looks like resulting in more volunteers and Foster homes which is excellent.
This was only possible with the kind support of Companies such as Suma and we thank you so much for your kind donation.”

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you so much for such an incredibly kind and generous delivery of the hamper. That was really brilliant and made a big difference to the Kids Company this year, thank you very much – We really appreciate it!
Have a great New Year.”
Very best, Anthony Rickards Jan 2012I am writing to you on behalf of the Enterprise Group of St Luke’s and St
Matthew’s Primary School in Dundee. We would like to express our sincere thanks
for your generosity in supporting our enterprise group in school, “Tayside
Treats”, to create Scottish hampers and jute bags in the lead up to the
Christmas period. We are happy to announce that the majority of our products
are now sold, with the rest likely to be sold within the first week of our
return to school.
The money raised will be going towards a fund we are continually working
towards raising for both the school and our chosen charity, Tayside Children
with Cancer and Leukaemia. The presentation of these monetary donations to both
causes will take place towards the end of the school year, giving the children
in the group more time to organise new products, services and events.
From being personally involved in the project, I am very pleased at the outcome
in terms of both profit and the skills and experiences the children have had
the privilege to gain. They gave up their own time after school to make the
products over several weeks and were very proud to sell them at our local
Church Fayre and at an enterprise event at the Wellgate Shopping Centre in
Dundee.”

The Incredible Veggie Roadshow in Liverpool on 26 Nov was a roaring success in probably the most stunning venue we have ever had! It was busy all day, all the stalls did well; the cookery demos and talks were packed – and everyone loved the free food samples, hot and cold. Despite the free food, the venue’s own café still took £800 selling all vegan food, much to their surprise!
Staff and punters were utterly delightful and friendly and we felt really welcomed – it’s not a stereotype about Scousers then!
Thank you again to all at Suma for your support and generous donations. Our next show is Sat 4th Feb in Cambridge.”
Kind regards Jane Easton. December 2011After several weeks, of being margarineless, I finally got my hands on your new recipe Suma Sunflower Margarine. As the mum of 2 teenagers with multiple food allergies, your margarine is the only one they can safely use. And we use a lot of it (I now have a freezer with 36kg of the stuff!). I know many parents of autistic children on special diets rely on this too.
It’s not identical …to the old recipe, slightly lighter in colour and with a different taste – blander & not so strong, which IMHO is a good thing, it still spreads and bakes fabulously.
So far everything I’ve made with it, griddle cakes, crumble, cakes, biscuits & sandwich construction have turned out brilliantly and not a bad reaction from the boys either.”
So from the Le Bretons a huge THANK YOU for working so hard to get this back in stock & to us (you went the extra mile) with very best wishes. Nov 2011
Just a quick thank-you note to the driver who very kindly separates out all
the order so we don’t have to scrummage through it.”
Have a good week-end all…Simon. July 2011
Our invites are out which include the information for people to contact Suma, we hope orders/credit to our account is soon added and guests find it easy to do. We’ll be in touch after the big day to then make arrangements to order, collect and enjoy our goodies.”
Thanks again. Richard and Lisa . July 2011

The weather was fantastic on the Saturday morning when the walkers set off, though it did get quite cold during the night and we had slight bit of rain on the Sunday morning. However 72% of the walkers completed the tough gruelling challenge of walking the non stop 100km route across the Yorkshire Dales, all with big though very tired smiles on their faces. However they couldn’t have done it without the energy and boost the soup gave them along the way!
So on behalf of the walkers, volunteers, staff members and of course myself, thank you very much for your generosity, it made a big difference to the participants who were very grateful indeed.
On to our next event known as Trailwalker which will be taking place in July. Let’s hope it is as much of a success as Trailtrekker was this year. Many thanks again.”
