Suma bloggers network – March/April recipe round-up

Submitted by on March 19, 2015 – 11:28 amNo Comment

Hi ya folks! Here is a round up of the most recent recipes created by members of our network of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free bloggers, championing healthy and delicious tasting food. Move over Heston, our bloggers have been experimenting with some peculiar ingredients to bring you some of the most cutting-edge vegetarian cuisine. Katy from Little Miss Meat Free made a Matcha Milkshake, using Matcha green tea powder from Clearspring. Jasmine from the Self Sufficient Cafe used Panko Breadcrumbs, which are a variety of flaky bread crumb used in Japanese cuisine as a crunchy coating for fried foods. Panko is made from bread baked by passing an electric current through the dough! However, our oddest ingredient was used by Red from Rocket and Roses Kitchen. Konnyaku has a jelly-like texture and a very pungent smell, so be warned! When cooked though Red enjoyed it very much. Why not give it a try? Suma codes JP049 and JP048.

All of the recipes can be viewed online at the bloggers individual blogs or accessed from our pinterest board:
