Mmm Sheena’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie, nuff said.

brownie

Ingredients:

  • 225g Suma organic crunchy peanut butter (GH022)
  • 200g good quality dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 280g Suma soft light brown sugar (LJ241)
  • 3 medium free range eggs
  • 100g self-raising flour

Method:

  1. Set aside 50g each of the peanut butter and chocolate for later
  2. Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4
  3. line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment
  4. In a pan, gently melt remaining peanut butter, chocolate and all the sugar, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has just about melted
  5. Allow to cool slightly, then using a wooden spoon, beat in the eggs one at a time
  6. Stir in the flour, mix well, and turn into the lined tin, leveling out the mixture evenly across the tin
  7. Spoon remaining peanut butter over the brownie in diagonal stripes
  8. Bake in the centre of the oven for approximately 20-25 mins until it has a crust, but the middle is still soft and cakey
  9. Melt remaining chocolate, drizzle over the brownie, then allow to cool in the tin before cutting up
