Join the Clean Up Cruelty Pledge

Submitted by on January 16, 2014 – 3:25 pmOne Comment

Cruelty Free International, which runs the Leaping Bunny no-animal-testing certification scheme, is asking ethical shoppers to clean with compassion by taking the Clean Up Cruelty Pledge, and committing to using only Leaping Bunny certified household cleaning brands like Ecoleaf from Suma.

Join the pledge and support cruelty-free cleaning

Ethical cruelty-free brands certified under the Leaping Bunny logo also available from Suma include Bio D, Ecover, Faith in Nature & Earth Friendly Products.

These brands have all committed to ensuring that no animal testing is conducted or commissioned for finished products or ingredients after a fixed cut-off date. The Leaping Bunny is different to other ‘cruelty-free lists’ as companies are asked to prove their no-animal-testing claims, and an independent auditor is appointed to check that this proof is watertight.

The organisation are asking the general public (that’s you!) to show your support and help Cruelty Free International reach 2000 signatures this weekend by taking the Pledge today at http://bit.ly/CUCpledge – making the pledge is simple – just commit to using only Leaping Bunny certified cleaning products to clean your home and you will be supporting ethical brands like us, cleaning with compassion and helping make the UK cruelty-free.
