Are you taking a step for Fairtrade?

Submitted by on February 22, 2012 – 4:30 pmNo Comment

It’s that time again- Fairtrade Fortnight is almost upon us!

The highlight of the fortnight for us is the 3rd of March, when we are teaming up with the Eighth Day Coop in Manchester to put on a special Fairtrade event. There will be music, dance sessions, a chance to meet some Palestinian olive oil producers, a special Fairtrade menu in the café and a raffle with some great prizes! It’s sure to be a fun-filled Fairtrade afternoon.

So, if you happen to be in the Manchester area please head over to Eighth Day Shop and Café on the 3rd March to join the fun. You can see all the details and sign up for the event through our Facebook page .

Throughout Fairtrade Fortnight (27th Feb-11th March) we’ll be posting lots of news and recipes on www.suma.coop and our Facebook page . If you want to find out how to get involved in the Fortnight, have a look at the Fairtrade Foundation’s website for more details and lots of helpful resources.
