Every one of these twelve new and beautiful soaps has been carefully hand crafted using a blend of olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter. We’ve used an age-old traditional method that means each bar retains all of the soap’s naturally released glycerine. It’s a method which helps produce a wonderfully natural moisturising soap, with a rich creamy lather which is kind and nourishing to even the most sensitive of skins.

We’re in the Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!

You may need to avert your eyes if you come to visit Suma today, because lots of us are sporting some very bright and clashing pink outfits! It’s true that some of us don’t have great fashion sense at the best of times, but today’s outfits are above and beyond the norm since we’ve dressed up in honour of Wear It Pink Day.

Wear It Pink Day is Breast Cancer Campaign’s biggest fundraising event. The ‘official’ pink day is actually happening this Friday, the 28th October, but since Wednesday is the day we have the most members in the building, we chose today in order to have the biggest impact and raise the most cash! This also means that if you are inspired by our efforts you still have time to plan your own Wear It Pink day on Friday!

We’re helping to raise funds by putting on something pink and giving £2 to support Breast Cancer Campaign. To raise more cash we also have some delicious pink velvet cupcakes for sale in the canteen thanks to Suma star baker Emma C. We’re even putting on a charity raffle with a grand prize of some pink bubbly. I’ll have five tickets please…
In 2010, hundreds of thousands of people wore pink and managed to raise over £2 million for the Breast Cancer Campaign. If you’d like to help raise even more money this year, find out how on their website, www.wearitpink.co.uk

Those pink fairy cakes, kindly produced by SUMA’s very own cup-cake queen, were just heavenly. I had too many so am now too full and skint (50p each for the cause) :-)

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for their efforts!
