Suma is the latest company to be included in Ethical Consumer Magazine’s Best Buy Label scheme.
More than 150 Suma product lines ranging from organic baked beans to shampoo have already been approved and will start to carry the label over the coming months.

“What’s unique about our Best Buy Label is that it’s the only accreditation scheme that looks in detail at both the ethical record of the company behind a product and the ethical record of the product itself,” explained Ethical Consumer editor Rob Harrison.

The product and the company are rated against more than
20 animal welfare, environmental and human rights criteria.

Around 30 of the UK’s leading ethical companies are already
in the scheme including the Ecology Building Society,
Good Energy and the Phone Co-op and Suma have now
joined this prestigious group in a major way.
