I was asked recently to present Suma at the business for Calderdale monthly networking event. This turned out to be a real privilege after being somewhat nervous beforehand. Firstly i got to present in the lovely surroundings of the Crossley Gallery at Dean Clough. Got to talk about Suma and in particular how Co-operative management and ownership works. The response in the room from a distinguished group of local business people was incredible and i even raised a few laughs with the concepts of self discipline and what must appear to an outsider, organised chaos. Thanks to all who attented and seemed to enjoy hearing about Suma. We will shortly be publicsing an open day, with practical workshops, in support of co-operative fortnight, more details to follow on that one.
