Ethical Voice for Animals (EVA) is an animal rights group set up in 2007 in Edinburgh to help local communities tackle a variety of animal protection issues. Now with over 1600 supporters, they are involved in a range of campaigns – anti real-fur sporrans, veganism and anti-vivisection.
EVA also organise Scotland’s largest vegan food fair, welcoming hundreds of people .
Recently, they have been successful in getting fur off high-street shops and mobilising Scotland to say no to real-fur sporrans. Their campaign for veganism in Scotland is now being rolled out nationally and the next vegan workshop is in Tweedbank, Borders on the 5th June.
