Leave us a message at the bottom of this page and tell us what decaff you normally drink, where you buy it from, what you like and don’t like about it and we’ll send the first 50 responses received before 30th April 2010, a 227g pack of our wonderbrew to try free of charge. I usually drink Clipper decaff – have tried a couple of brands and find this the least bitter although it’s still quite hard to stomach – hooray for sugar!
I buy an unbranded blend from a coffee shop in Holborn. I like it because it’s delicious, fairly traded, aromatic, strong (I like my coffee very strong) & ground to my spec.
I usually drink Clipper decaf instant which I get from Suma
It’s an ok coffee but not actually like a proper coffee. slightly burnt after taste.
I usually drink a supermarket brand of decaf.
I buy it from ADSA
i like it for the aroma, but as you begin to taste it, it usually becomes very chemically, and not very well roasted.
I drink Equal Exchange Decaff Coffee. I like it cause it’s the most like ‘real’ coffee I’ve found but doesn’t keep me awake for days on end!
I usually buy it online from the ethical superstore.
I normally drink Percol ground coffee – from your good selves.
hi i would love to try this!
Cafe Direct
where you buy it from, Coop
what you like and don’t like about it – Fairtrade but it’s a bit bitter in taste.
I drink Carte Noir decaf as I have drunk many different brands but this is the best one I have found.
Would be interested in trying your new decaff coffee. I have never tried any before as had heard about nasty chemicals being used to extract the caffeine. My stress levels may be grateful for the chance to try decaff!!
Keep up the good work
Lisa
Red Kite Health Foods, Bromsgrove.
I drink Sainsbury’s Organic decaf usually, just because my mother in law buys it for me… it’s not bad, but I prefer a more subtle roast, so many English coffees are harsh tasting.
I drink the cafedirect instant which is good.
Ground – I’ve had one from Marks and Spencers which was good. Often with decaff it tastes a bit washed out, but that was better. Think I might have had a Taylors one as well that was good.
I always used ground Cafedirect as I am a shareholder and it hits the spot for me during the day
I drink the Clipper or cafe direct. I buy from Suma.
I tend to buy them from Suma when they are on offer!
I like to buy fair trade and these aren’t as bitter as some others.

I don’t drink decaff at the moment as I’ve not found one that I like. So I’d be very interested to give yours a try. I must admit I love the Suma Ethiopian beans, but don’t have more than one mug a day because of the caffeine.
I’m new to decaff (!!) At the moment trying Sainsbury’s Fairtrade Colombian but will be trying out some more when I next do my Suma order!!
Usually Clipper. Is nice but i really dont find it a patch on their normal coffee’s so feel slightly cheated! But is my favourite coffee if i dont want to take caffine.
I usually buy clipper or cafe direct decaf but i find that sometimes i open a jar and it tastes burnt. Also the clipper can be abit watery tasting. I’m interested in trying this one.
I buy Sainsbury’s TTD Fairtrade decaf – good aroma, reasonable price and quite a nutty taste…. although it isn’t nearly as good as my full blooded caffeinated coffee – but needs must!

Fair Trade Columbian from Hinchliffes (coopers coffee), a Suma outlet. Get them on your new coffee! It’s got a right nice aroma with excellent rounded flavour and a rich, dark colour. Not bitter, just right. Mmmmm
I like the coffe from lidl…belarom gold 100% arabic, would love to try the new stuff from suma…I know you lot are good with everything, hello to all there working hard.

I have never drunk decaffeinated coffee – but increasingly feel less caffeine would probably be a good thing – worth a shot! Katie
Having never drank decaf coffee because of the usual chemical process involved I would really like to try some of this please.
I can then recommend it to my customers and so increase my usual order from your good selves
I buy a range of decaf filter coffees and clipper instant coffee. I prefer filter coffee but haven’t managed to find a decaf that I am happy with as most taste burnt and bitter.
I drink Clipper decaff… it’s fairtrade, tastes Ok and easy to find in the shops
i drink a decaf that’s from a small company in the beautiful land of cornwall (it’s nice to be reminded of home)…..its the best one i’ve tried so far…..its organic and beautiful! but i’m always on the ‘nose’ around for new flavours to dazzle my palette!
usually but cafe direct from the supermarket – i like it because it is fair trade but has a good taste. would possibly like it to taste a little stronger
We use Lichfields Decaffeinated coffee, it’s fairtrade and has a good taste but I am interested to try your de-caff, sounds great!
When I buy it, I buy Clipper’s organic, fairtrade, decaf.
I buy from a variety of small, local retailers that sell a high percentage of organic products.
I like it because it’s: organic (amongst so many other good things, “organic certification apparently guarantees the decaffeination process employed is totally natural”), fairtrade, decaf (well, I just don’t buy caffeinated anyway), instant (again, I don’t buy filter coffee, but family and friends do!) and Soil Association certified (representing the highest organic standards and supporting the good work of the Soil Association charity).
I guess that the only thing I don’t like about it is that it could do better environmentally on the packaging front.
I drink the Clipper or cafe direct. I buy from occasionaly in bulk from Suma and Infinity.
I tend to buy them from Trinity when they are on offer!
I like to buy fair trade.
I normally drink Tesco’s own decaf. It taste okay but not great and would prefer a more “ethical” coffee.
Normally I drink Cafe direct but tend to like trying different blends. At the moment I am shopping at Morrisons or Asda.

I am not very brand loyal! As long as it is decaff and fairly traded I usually buy whatever is the best price. Maybe you can change my habits
Asda’s Fair Trade Decaf for cafetieres. I’m not that happy buying a supermarket own brand, but it is one of the few Fair Trad Decaf’s around. It has a pretty mild flavour, which is enough to wake me up in the morning.
I have tried a few of the Suma brands in an attempt to give up caffeinated coffee. They are all surprisingly good but i’ll be interested to try this one. If its Organic it usually tastes better regardless!
I’ve tried Taylor freshly ground de-caff. It’s Swiss water method I think but not Organic or fair trade which I would prefer.
I also prefer serious strong charcoal like coffee when I have it and de-caff like semi skimmed milk and low fat products are things which I treat with suspicion.
I usually drink the Percol coffee, I had to switch on to decaf since last month but the important thing is to keep the flavour of a good coffee without caffeine. that is the good thing of a decaff!!
I buy M & S Fairtrade Organic Nicaraguan Decaff, £2.29. I like it because it doesn’t give me heartburn as do other ground coffees.
I normally use co-op fairtrade fresh ground coffee in my cafetiere.
I like that it is course ground, fair trade and from the co-op. However, it has a very bitter, burnt taste.
Hi I usually drink Douwe Egberts decaf as I love coffee but am really caffiene sensitive. I’ve bought it from supermarkets in the past.
I really like the idea of water decaffienating as I’ve worked with methylene chloride and know what a nasty chemical it is.
We drink Lavazza decaff which reminds us of Italy
We usually drink tesco’s own brand but it’s not something we really look forward to as it’s tastes watery. Would love to try Sumas decaff.
I have had to switch to decaff in the last month and so far have found decaff coffees pretty tasteless so I am looking for one to buy!

I support fairtarde. I love free stuff. I drink a lot of coffee. But come on, decaff! What is the point?
I usually drink clipper decafe from the supermarket, usually find it doesnt have the full aroma of other caffeinated coffees, but like to stick with decaf or my heart beat gets too fast.
We tend to buy Clipper or cafedirect, but i find these watery, weak and sometimes have a slightly burnt taste. Why do we have to compremise with taste in decaf?
Hello,
I like a rich roasted blend. The instant coffee in the UK is dire and when I am in different cities I opt for Starbucks….not because it is my favourite, but because it’ll do! I very much look forward to trying Sumas Decaf! I have recently had to switch as am trying for a baby….I miss my coffee….
I drink decaf every evening, have done for 5 years now, I generally drink Clipper organic instant but would love to try your fairtrade organic coffee. The occassional real coffee makes me feel aweful so I will stick to decaf. thankyou. I do envy the aroma when a new pavket of real coffee is opened though. Hopefully your will provide that rich aroma.
Cheers
just found out that i’m intolerant to caffeine
so have tried, clipper which is fine but would like to find others
